Crash: UPS B744 at Dubai on Sep 3rd 2010, veered off course on final

A UPS Boeing 747-400, registration N571UP, was on approach to Dubai's runway 30L, declared emergency and veered off course crashing onto a free space west of Dubai Silicon Oasis and Al-Ain Highway (E66), about half way between Emirates Road (E311) and road E611. Both crew perished in the crash.

CARACAS, Venezuela —A helicopter crash killed 10 Venezuela National Guard troops who were on an anti-drug trafficking mission, an official said Saturday.
The crash occurred in the southwestern state of Apure, which borders Colombia, Friday afternoon, shortly after the Russian-made Mi-17 chopper took off from a clearing, National Guard Gen. Luis Alfredo Motta told state-run television.

Probability at the time of exercise.
There have been no known details about the fate of the pilots.

Initial reports suggest that there are survivors from a landing accident, at Yichun in China, involving a Henan Airlines Embraer 190.
China's civil aviation authority has identified the Embraer 190, confirming the operator as Henan Airlines, formerly Kunpeng Airlines.
It says the aircraft is registered B-3130. Flightglobal's ACAS database last listed the jet as a two-year old airframe, leased from RBS Aviation Capital.

| Announcement: Saudi pilot killed as Eurofighter crashes in Spain |

A Eurofighter aircraft has crashed at Spain's Morón air base with one fatality, the Spanish ministry of defence has confirmed.
The combat aircraft, which was on a regular training flight, crashed into the ground "moments after take-off" from the base near Seville, according to the ministry's statement.
It was being piloted under dual control by a lieutenant colonel from the Saudi Arabian air force, who was killed, and a Spanish air force commander, who ejected before the crash.

NEW DELHI: In yet another helicopter accident in the armed forces, an Army Cheetah crashed on Wednesday morning near the Nagaland-Manipur border, killing three officers.
Since April 2007, there have been 40 crashes of fighters and helicopters in the armed forces, killing 19 and injuring 16 people.
The forces have lost well over 70 helicopters in crashes over the last decade.

(RTTNews) - Two Filipino pilots went missing after a Navy helicopter crashed between two southern islands during a routine flight on Tuesday.
Two passengers and a crewman aboard the chopper survived the accident that occurred around 11 a.m. local time.

Rescue searchers are still looking for one of the crewmembers of a Japanese coastguard helicopter, which hit a power line and crashed in the Inland Sea off Sanagi Island.
The helicopter, a Bell 412 belonging to the 6th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters in Hiroshima Prefecture, left base for a patrol mission. However, 45 minutes before landing it hit a high-voltage power line, which connects Sanagi and a smaller island nearby.
